Diane Hansen Director of Kitty Lee Dance Studio, Diane has been teaching dance since she was a teenager. Diane performed professionally across the United States and Europe. Being an Air Force wife, Diane managed to teach wherever her husband led her. She took over the studio in 1993. Her mother, Miss Kitty, the founder of Kitty Lee Dance Studio still has an extensive role in the studio. Diane is Past President of the Omaha Dance Teachers Association and a strong supporter of the organization. She has also traveled nationwide to conventions, competitions and performers. Diane's competitive dance team has won numerous national championships.
Kitty Lee Dahlberg, Founder of Kitty Lee Dance Studio, Kitty has been in the dance business for 50 years. Kitty danced professionally in the Chicago area before she was married. The studio was originally in her home.
Sandy Gardner, a former KLD student, has been teaching dance for over 30 years. She began her performance career on the Show Wagon stage, in the Omaha Ballet Company's Nutcracker, and in the modern company Dance Theatre '76. She danced professionally in Giordano ll, a Chicago-based jazz dance company, and was also a member of the Giodano jazz and tap faculty. As a respected member of the dance performance and the teaching community, Sandy had the honor of serving as a judge for many Showbiz Dance Competitions. And, as a former Miss Nebraska, she choreographer for 17 state pageants. Aside from her jazz and tap background, her heart has always been in the Ballet field. She traveled extensively with her daughter Tara as she studied with renowned ballet instructors at top ballet schools and workshops throughout the US, including the Universal Ballet Academy in Washington, D.C. (also known as Kirov Academy Ballet). Sandy operated her own dance studio and a successful competition dance team in Grand Island for 15 years.
Patrick Roddy: We are lucky to have such a sought after instructor in Patrick. He is on staff at Creighton University and danced professionally all across the country with Mitzi Gaynor and many others.
Cindy Krohn: Cindy has been teaching for the studio for over 20 years. She served as past Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Omaha Dance Teachers' Association. She has been a key person in the direction of the studio and the excellence it has achieved.
